Method
- Wash and thinly slice the cucumbers
- Place cucumber slices in a colander and sprinkle with salt; let sit for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture
- In a large bowl, whisk together sour cream, dill, vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper
- Pat cucumbers dry and add to the bowl
- Add sliced red onion
- Toss everything together until well coated
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving
