Method
- Bring water, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, ginger, and cloves to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the spices.
- Add black tea bags and steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
- Remove tea bags and strain out the spices.
- Stir in milk and warm gently without boiling.
- Sweeten to taste, pour into mugs, and serve hot.
