Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom pods lightly crushed
  • 1- inch fresh ginger sliced
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey or sweetener of choice optional

Method
 

  1. Bring water, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, ginger, and cloves to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the spices.
  3. Add black tea bags and steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  4. Remove tea bags and strain out the spices.
  5. Stir in milk and warm gently without boiling.
  6. Sweeten to taste, pour into mugs, and serve hot.
