Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or 2 tablespoons homemade
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • Salsa as desired

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef, stir to combine.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Warm taco shells according to package directions.
  6. Fill each shell with seasoned beef.
  7. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, onion, and salsa as desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
