  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 red onion diced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: bacon bits avocado, jalapeños

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it into crumbles with a spatula.
  3. Season beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned and cooked through.
  5. Drain excess fat from the skillet if desired.
  6. While beef is still hot, add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar-free ketchup, yellow mustard, pickle relish, apple cider vinegar, and paprika to create the special sauce.
